Born from a deep love for both fashion and the ocean, Pan Dulce is a unique blend of passion, adventure, and personal discovery. Our founder grew up with fashion in her DNA—thanks to her mom, who was always rocking the latest styles and teaching her everything about fabrics, cuts, and how to never leave the house without a killer outfit. Driven by the incredible opportunity to explore the world, she ultimately found her home in the vibrant streets of New York city, a place she fell in love with for its boundless energy and endless opportunities. Inspired by the people who dared to carve their own paths and start something from nothing, she took the plunge to combine her two greatest passions: fashion and surfing. After discovering the thrill of riding waves just five years ago, she decided to create a surf swimwear brand that embodies both her love for sleek, urban style and the free-spirited nature of the surf world. The name Pan Dulce carries special meaning. Literally translated to "sweet bread," it evokes a sense of warmth and comfort. It's also named after her favorite surf break in the south of Costa Rica, where her connection to nature and the ocean deepened. In slang, "pan dulce" also playfully refers to the curve of a woman's derrière, adding a cheeky touch of fun and femininity that reflects the spirit of her designs.
